LordKraken - Proper Propaganda
Only seen this boss once before, outside of the Halloween event. Ran into it when I only had about 150mp, so it was a pretty close call.
Some nice pocket change I guess. Oh and ever since screenshots are .bmp instead of .tga, I've been getting some purple haze in some of my pictures. Makes the bdai look kinda cool though.
Anyways, on to the next. I don't know how long ago it was, maybe like 2-3 weeks, but someone said this site was full of shit. Sure, sometimes the stories tell only one side. But it's our side, and seeing how it's our site, it'd make sense to post that here. I don't know what goes through SoL members' minds, so I couldn't post their side.
Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way. Maybe he meant that this site was full of lies and fraud. Well I haven't felt the need to lie seeing all the pictures I have. And the idea of the pictures be fraudulent is so stupid, I won't even consider that as what he could've meant.
Finally, there's the death counter at the top right corner there. Of course people attacked that, saying that it was bullshit. Well, here's the story behind it. One day I was wondering how much money SoL spent on buybacks exactly. Mostly because of our 'one 50+ kill a day' quota lasted for about a month. Not to mention the days we'd kill more than just one. So I asked people in the pledge which were the people we killed where we couldn't get the screenshot. Then I looked through the archives of the blog, and jotted down the names of 50+ end pics, a long with the few that we had no screenshots for. I then tallied up the people who we killed more than once. And there you have it, after (quite) a bit of adding I had a rough idea of how much they spent on buybacks. So I just thought I'd share and post it as a counter, and just add to it after each kill.
So why am I saying all this now? Well a few days into the war, I think it was SharpArrows who suggested a picture gallery of all the SoL end pics. But as great as the idea seemed, it didn't really take off. So I decided to take the initiative when someone said how "it wasn't even funny how full of shit that counter is."
After working on it here and there over the past few weeks, (there's really a lot of pictures) I finally finished the archives of the death pictures. If you look at the the counter now, there are now 'Details' which link you to the gallery. Or you can just click here to go to it. Or here. Or even here!
