I don't really have anything to say about ReD's post, and don't really want to make the whole thing public. So I'll just leave it at that.
These are a bit old, but oh well. A few days ago I was playing with my rotc and found openupshop at dv int. Well I went chao off him but he restarted soo fast, like before he even spun around he was gone.
So then I went pk'ing as I was already chao.
Got to something like -50 chaotic then went to the end of a kent seige.
Killed her and a couple other mages until I was -8k or so again.
Then went to DI till I was neutral..
And a bit more hunting here and there and now I'm full lawful again.
Oh and today in the seige zone...
I'm pretty sure that is the same person as SugarPlum (non-plural), since they're in the same pledge and all. But anyways, SugarPlum cancelled me and my pledge while we were fighting for no reason, she was even pink the whole time. And after killing her while she was hunting she went on and on about how we will be banned for 'grief play.'
Well that does it for this post, I'm off to go out and play in the rain.

Interesting that you speak on this site of people using hacks, etc. Yes, you may have killed me once, but what was interesting is when I cancelled you later in FV from across the screen and then suddenly I was para/froze by you from across the screen, with no sound or animation of spells. The same when you slowed me after that and silenced me.
How can you possibly talk about other people hacking/cheating when it is obvious that you do it.
So no one in my pledge got banned from your 'grief play' claims.. now you've resorted to just flat out making stuff up? You cancelled me only once, and yes that was across the screen. But you forgot to mention that it was a whole 5-10 minutes later when you died. That would give me plenty of time to not only walk beside you in coi but to go to town to get more mgems.
So then I went back and stood beside you in coi, to wait for you to detect. And I even remember you detected right away, and I had to find my para spell and put it on hotkey. So I stood there for a full two seconds, -right beside you- and you just let me para you. You stepped away, and ice lance is a ranged spell you know, so that was no problem to freeze you from however far away you are.
I know that's what happened, and you probably do too. Just remember that when you go around making stuff up to make yourself feel better.

I just started my hunt in FV, I saw you briefly at the top of my screen while you were preparing to fight a mop or maybe you were, that I cannot remember. You had PK'ed me earlier (maybe the day before or earlier in the day I can't recall), I thought about whether or not to cancel you, I generally leave even my enemies alone to hunt, but hey you PK'ed me..So I decided to cut your hunt a little short, make you use a pot or two or waste some MP by cancelling you.
I slowly moved to the edge of the screen and cancelled you. not .5 seconds later I was para/froze without sound or animation from your position at the top of my screen (you hadn't moved more than a cell closer to me yet) and you were getting hit by a fire archer that was on the cliff. There was not a 5 minute span of time between me cancelling you and me being para/froze. You hadn't moved anywhere NEAR me, let alone within para range.
After I was standing there para/froze, you briefly went invisible and were then within 2 cells of me. You walked next to me cast at least 2 slow spells on me and silence. There was again no animation and no sound for these, and I was NOT lagging at all.
I was amazed not only that para/freeze worked from across the screen (Not surprised at all by freeze, just para), but that there was no sound, no animation and the para was instantaneous without time to escape.
Not wanting to die (and I didn't), I force quit the client. Now before I go further, I want you to know that I never force quit the client except when it is obvious that a cheat is being used (e.g. para from across the screen and no animation on spells).
I then re-launched the client, logged on as another of my characters and asked my pledge if para now was a ranged attack, they all said no, as did my friends from a long time ago. That leaves only 1 explanation. HACK/CHEAT..
I then re-logged on and was back where I was before and you were not around. I immediately escaped to town and shortly after that you had logged off.
I do NOT mind dieing in this game. Hey it is a part of it, and it is not like I am going to drop anyway :) Additionally at the low level of this character it takes me all of 10 mins to get back the exp, so it's not that big of deal to me. If I was L48+ ya, I'd be less happy about it :)
People always accuse SoL/Supermen's rivals of using cheats. I am YET to see with my own eyes any of them use a hack/cheat. That does not mean that they do not, just that I have not seen it. As I told someone on the lineage.com messageboards. I would report my own pledgemate just as quickly as I would report an enemy if I *KNOW* they are using a hack/cheat.
The fact that you have not yet been banned, means nothing. NC must CATCH you in the act of using your hacks/cheats before they will ban you. I wouldn't be surprised if you never get banned, since NC isn't exactly the best at atching people in the act.
Again, I congratulate you on killing me once. Don't expect it to happen again, especially with your single cast para/freeze from across the screen.
I don't hate or even dislike you for feeling you have to use cheats to "win". I find it hilarious that you are not a good enough player that you have to resort to cheating to get ahead. I findd that pathetic

How about you post what the hell your character name is? I was talking about the time I killed sugarplums because that was what the post was about, and that was the last time I even used para.
The 'incident' you're talking about is either totally made up, or you have me confused with someone else.
At this point I don't even know who you are, since everyone I've killed was fairly, and most of the time with cone of cold. So as for your little story, seeing how I don't know who the hell you are, it's a tad hard to remember.
But I can tell you that I don't cheat, and of all the cheats I see people use, I've never even seen some kind of 'long-range-para-hack,' yet you claim it exists. Just like how banefin thinks dice dagger and then burn is some kind of hack that lets you do 700 damage in one hit? Or how karismagt thinks only one person burned her when she died, but it was really two burners at the same time. So just instantly assumed it was a '700 damage+ burn hack.'
You can ask anyone in my pledge, or my enemies' pledge even (though i'd doubt they'd be honest), I hardly ever use the para spell at all. Before sugarplums, I don't even remember the last time I used it, but it was also in a seige zone. So I have absolutely no idea when was the last time I used it outside a seige zone. So I don't know how far your story goes back, but I'm sure it's been months since I used para on FV beach, or wherever your story takes place.
So convince yourself of whatever you want, but unless you actually are sugarplums I never para'd you within the last couple months, let alone para you outside of a seige... and from a full screen away or whatever you said.
By the way, all you people who think you're so clever making a random named blogger account just to post comments to side step the no anonymous comments thing... Are you that scared to post your character name?
You want the character name, you got it. It's Raisputin, and unless you had someone in COI next to you that can para from COI, it happened EXACTLY like I described it. The picture you have of me dead (good work), I spoke with someone about and found out it was apparently 3 CoC's that killed me. I took that (and still do) at face value, and I can see 2 in your picture, so I will not say that was a hack or cheat, but perhaps inattention on my part or a touch of the lag monster at an inappropriate time (for me anyway ^^)...
It was para and freeze (I should have grabbed a screenshot) from what my client showed, so if it wasn't, I am VERY confused as to why I had the para color and it said as much on my client.
I have played a mage A LOT and am very familiar with mage PK tactics ^^ Hell before I quit and deleted the old Raisputin I had quite the PK count built up, including several 50+ players that I killed similarly to your CoC attack ^^
For now, I will give you the benefit of the doubt, and I would go so far as to say. Look me up in game, I invite you to a combat zone where we can play around. Perhaps there is something wrong with my client and it shows the para color when it shouldn't be, or there is a bug that makes it appear as though Freeze is Para/Freeze.
If it is a bug, or a client issue I would much rather that be the case to be honest. As we may be enemies in game, but with the dwindling population on Dep, I would rather you be around be it as enemy or friend.
Speaking of my enemies, heh, you may not believe it, but I have friends in Supermen pledge, I have friends in SoL. I was a member of SoL for a while a long time ago until I quit, but not on my mage IIRC.
Find me and we'll chat, or play in a combat zone somewhere (maybe an arena?). Additionally if it is indeed a bug in the client or an error in my client, I will come back here and make a formal apology to you :)

Okay, well you're not as experienced as you say you are then. After skimming through your comment I remember when I saw you on the right side of FV.
You cancelled me, and I cancelled you back and you ran away, then I ice lanced you, ONLY ice lance, not para from a mile away then ice lance.
If you ever froze someone you will notice that through the ice cube the person's body is gray, just like when para'd. It works even better when someone is stepping away while they get frozen and is gray and beside the ice cube. But it's just the same colour it doesn't mean you were para'd without the sound or whatever you thought it was.
Anyways, you thawed out and I froze you again and you force quit. If you actually did get para'd, which you didn't. You'd still be para'd in FV when you logged back in and unable to tele right to giran like you did.
There's nothing more to say about that. Apologize if you want, but I honestly couldn't care less if you did. Like I said, You're just like banefin or karismagt, when you don't know exactly what's going on you assume the people who beat you fairly are cheating.
As I said, if that is indeed the case, and I will assume that is is, then I owe you an apology :) I *never* assume someone is cheating, until something strikes me as a little out of the ordinary. Perhaps I just saw it wrong, I can't be certain at this point in time :)
Again, my sincere apologies. I am still a little confused though why there was not any animation on the Freeze or the silence and slow, nor any sound effects... Were there on your end?
Anyway, I will chalk this one up to my error, and say I'm sorry for the accusation. If we happen to be in the situation again I will be sure to take screenshots so that I can review them later :)

Oh, I wnat to add, since I have been playing this game (Mac Beta) I have been frozen and para'd many times, usually in my early days I was nowhere near experienced enough to escape fast enough, hell half the time I dind't even have a escape scroll LOL. Force quit was a rule of thumb then. You can force quit and not come back para'd depending on how long you wait. It doens't take too long to un-para before you can log back in ^^
Why should I even bother to 'defend your accusations' when you wouldn't? Your real char is probably someone who is a bought account or a cheater, since that's who most of the people I fight are.
The point is that there may be a few bought accounts on my side, but look how many more on the paldo side. And both sides know for damn sure paldo is the one who cheats. Why do you think rufang, setup, superqq got banned? So go right ahead and focus on one member in my pledge and totally ignore your entire alliance. I'll know the truth no matter what you say. And you will too, no matter what you want to make up about me or my pledge and sol.

Then again, I know that my measly little non-hack using knight can't 1:1 a much higher level knight, so to stay and fight is pointless.
All you *prove* to anyone that you kill (and not even most of those I hate to say it) is that you have played the game long enough to have aquired a very high level and very good armor and weapons. That's fantastic! Someday I will be there as well :), until then I have no *good* reason to stand and fight, wasting my hunting time and resources (pots, scrolls, etc.)...
If you ever manage to kill me solo ( on my knight), I will give you props, but, since we both know that will not happen, you come off looking as someone that just likes to try to stop others from leveling so you can remain "One of the strongest".
I can't 1:1 Zef, I know it, but I still have fun with him at sieges, I am sure my piddly little weapon barely evne scratches him, maybe tickles more like, but unlike YOU WaR, Zef has always given respect, and therefore deserves respect.
You want 2 good examples of GREAT players in my book? Bam and Pomme. Both have been my enemies since I first joined FCA oh so long ago. They have both killed me in the past, etc. at the same time they have also always been genuinely KIND in the gameand helped me (even though I am their enemy).
Where is the FUN in the game if you have no rivals (1:1)? What fun is it to know that you will win every battle (1:1)?
Kill me by yourself if you think you can. You will have to be fast though, because like always I will just escape and leave you there alone, without a dead body to gloat over :)
